Norwalk city budget could be approved this evening
The annual budget for the City of Norwalk could be accepted by council members during tonight’s meeting; as a second reading is planned. According to the Norwalk Reflector, the city does expect utility costs and consumer products to increase.
City of Sandusky Police Department giving away stuffed K9’s
The City of Sandusky Police Department is offering a few opportunities to ‘adopt’ one of their new K9 police dog stuffed toys. 100 of the K9’s, which don a Sandusky Police Department vest and drug-tip hotline leash, will be given out via a random drawing by sending an email by 4:00 pm today to the Sandusky PD with your name, address and phone number. Also on Wednesday beginning at 5:30 pm, the City of Sandusky Police Department will be posting ‘landmark’ locations on their Facebook page where the stuffed K9’s will be distributed.
City of Norwalk mobile app available
There’s an app for that. Well there is for the City of Norwalk. The Norwalk Economic Development Corporation has sent out a reminder about The City of Norwalk mobile app; which is available for free download on the iTunes or Google Play store. It contains a business directory, upcoming events, and a link to report an issue within the city.
Perkins Police still accepting toy donations
The Perkins Police Department held a successful toy drive over the weekend. But in case you missed the event at the Sandusky Wal-Mart, toys are still being collected through Wednesday. You can bring toys to the Perkins Police Department between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm; or drop them off by the Christmas Tree in their foyer. All collected toys will be given to Victory Kitchen in Sandusky for their Christmas Shoebox giveaway event.
