Norwalk pedestrian injured during holiday events Saturday
A Norwalk woman was struck by a vehicle Saturday night during Norwalk’s holiday festivities. The Norwalk Reflector reports that 46 year-old Kristen Zuccaro was hit by 28 year-old Joseph Anderson of Norwalk while lawfully crossing Whittlesey Avenue from east to west. Zuccaro was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center, and was then released Sunday, after hitting her head on the pavement. Anderson was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian
Narcan kits to be distributed in Wakeman tonight
Huron County Public Health is holding a Project DAWN, drug-overdose training event tonight in Wakeman. Project DAWN kits, including the drug-overdose antidote Narcan, will be distributed tonight at the event at the Huron County Community Library in Wakeman starting at 6:00 pm. Sandusky Police investigating car fires
The Sandusky Police Department is investigating three car fires that took place Saturday. The first fire happened on Carr Street early Saturday morning; and while police responded, a call was received about two more car fires a few miles away on East Jefferson and Perry streets. Detective Jon Huffman told the Sandusky Register over the weekend that he believed the fires were not just a random act. Police continue to investigate; and anyone with information should call Detective Huffman at 419-627-5866.
