The Norwalk Board of Education is considering a proposal by the Ohio School Boards Association to help with the search for a new superintendent.
For $6,900, OSBA would accept applications, screen them by using active and retired superintendents and then offer a list of first-rounders, along with identical scripted questions to ask during interviews. OSBA would also offer help during second-round and subsequent interviews. Officials said the process should take roughly 3 1/2 months. A decision on hiring OSBA could come next month.

Northern Ohio families who use propane to heat their homes should get some relief this winter.
The ‘Ohio Propane Gas Association’ says more propane is being produced in the state this year and a better delivery system is in place. Last year’s brutal cold temperatures and heavy snow resulted in propane shortages.
