The U-S Marshall’s Office has arrested a suspect in the death of a man from Wayne County.
54 year-old Ricky Ball was found yesterday on a passenger bus, on the Ohio Turnpike just west of Sandusky, heading to Toledo.
Marshalls say, they expect to charge him with ‘murder’ for the death of 81 year-old Edwin Eberle of Orrville.
Eberle was reported missing this past Saturday…his body was found Monday in a home on West Market.

Hill is wanted on weapons charges and a parole violation…
The feds consider him, “armed and dangerous.”

It happened last night, just after 7:30.
Police say, one person was shot…
No word yet on that person’s condition…nor whether anyone has been arrested…

On Tuesday, Governor Mike DeWine cautioned Ohioans that significant numbers of COVID-19 infections are likely this winter; unless citizens take steps to mitigate and control the spread of the virus.
According to state numbers, in the last seven days, Ohio COVID-19 cases have averaged 1,475 cases per day by report date; as compared to an average of approximately 1,000 cases per day two weeks ago.

The number of people who work in the Lorain School System who have tested ‘positive’ for COVID-19 now stands at 4.
According to the Chronicle Telegram, an additional Aramark worker and a staff member at Hawthorne Elementary are on the list.
Lorain City Schools are working with Lorain County Public Health on the protocol process.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol recently joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on distracted driving enforcement.
During the project, nearly 500 people were cited with distracted driving-related offenses from October 5th through 12th.
Other states included in the project were Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

11 people were charged with criminal trespassing at a former Sandusky-area water park.
According to the Sandusky Register, the trespassing occurred among 4 different incidents on Monday at the vacant Maui Sands waterpark off Route 250 in Perkins Township.
Those cited included five 18 year-olds and six children.

Sandusky Police Officer Elijah Coe has officially been awarded the department’s 2019 Officer of the Year award.
The annual awards banquet had been called off due to COVID-19.

Nine Huron County businesses and non-profits affected by the pandemic are sharing $60,000 in Federal CARES Act funds.
Grants of $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000 were awarded.
According to Norwalk Ohio News.com, those receiving funds include the Norwalk Arts Center with $5,000 along with the Huron County Chamber of Commerce and Huron County Humane Society each receiving $10,000.

Lorain County Board of Elections Director Paul Adams says, in-person, early-voting is breaking records, and beginning today, voters will have a drive-thru option to drop off their absentee ballots.
Until today, the drop-off box at the Board of Elections was ‘walk-up’ only.
There will be new signage and traffic patterns for the parking lot.
