Weather making the headlines once again…
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect this morning through 4:00 am Thursday.
Forecasters are predicting anywhere from 3 to 7 inches of snow for the area.

The Centers for Disease Control is alerting residents, brace for the spread of the Corona Virus here in the U-S.
The announcement marks a shift away from trying to keep the virus, out of the country.
Meanwhile, health officials nationwide are reminding residents, many more people will come down with the flu.

A Brownhelm Township man is free-on-bond after being arrested on a charge of gross sexual imposition.
Authorities accuse 69-year-old John Murphey of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 in 2017.

Longtime Huron City Manager Andy White has resigned, effective March 20th.
According to the Sandusky Register, White has taken the City Manager job in Powell, near Columbus.
Assistant City Manager Mike Spafford will run the show while the city looks for the replacement for White.

The City of Willard says Columbia gas will be starting construction on Myrtle Avenue; from Howard to Tiffin Street either tomorrow or Friday.
The construction will include the replacing of a gas main and around 50 individual services.
The project is expected to last through March.

Miss USA 2016 is scheduled to speak tonight at Henry’s Barn in Oberlin.
DeShauna Barber was the first active military officer to hold that title.
Her visit is part of a Women’s Leadership Network program honoring Black History Month.

A storm spotter training event in Sandusky has been announced for April.
Hosted by the Erie County EMA, Cedar Point and the Erie County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, the SKYWARN session, lasting about 2 hours, will include the identification of potential severe weather features and how to report information.
It will be held April 15th at 6:30 pm at the Castaway Bay Conference Room; and is free and open to the public.

Something new at Oberlin College…
In the fall, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music will offer a program in recording arts and production.
Post-bachelor degree students can earn certification to operate recording hardware and work in a concert hall or recording studio.
