Police in Lorain continue their investigation into a fatal shooting.
Monday night, police were called to East 31st and found 18-year-old Gabriel Blevins of East 38th, shot, in the stomach. He died a short time later.
22-year-old Antonio Monticue of East 31st has been charged with ‘tampering with evidence’.
Elyria Police are asking for your helping in tracking down 23-year-old Demarcus Boone.
Police believe, Boone tried to run over another man, in a parking lot behind the D-and-M Mart on Lake Avenue, last week.
An 18-year-old from Cleveland has pled guilty to gun charges in connection with an alleged incident last August in Sandusky.
According to the Sandusky Register, Rachon Bledsoe is accused of firing a stolen handgun on Camp Street…leading to a foot pursuit by police.
He’ll be sentenced in January.
A known scam has struck again in Erie County.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office say they’ve received 2 recent reports of a male calling people and identifying himself as a sergeant of their agency; saying they had a warrant for arrest of the person who answered.
They say the caller then attempted to obtain bond payment via a pre-paid debit card.
Again, this is a scam.
A five-county planning agency that includes Lorain and Medina counties has applied for a federal grant, to clean up so-called ‘brownfields’.
“NOACA” wants to set up a 1-million-dollar revolving loan fund that property-owners could use, to restore those contaminated properties.
The City of Sandusky’s ‘Candlelight Tour of Homes’ is returning for its 40th year, starting this weekend.
The walk allows visitors to tour historic buildings and homes that are all decked out for the holidays.
