A man from Milan died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Friday in Erie County.
William Ransom was 24.
The State Highway Patrol says Ransom struck a car that failed to yield while pulling onto Route 113 in Florence Township from a private driveway…ejecting both Ransom and passenger, 25-year-old Holly Guthrie of Milan.
Guthrie suffered life-threatening injuries.
The car’s driver and passenger, 76-year-old David and 69-year-old Jenny Weese, of Milan were not hurt.

It happened at about 4 o’clock yesterday-afternoon, with a car and a motorcycle, colliding.
The motorcyclist was taken to Mercy Health, and later, died.
Three people were rescued from the Sandusky Bay on Saturday after their boat capsized.
According to the Sandusky Register, the U.S. Coast Guard Marblehead Station pulled the people from the water near the Dempsey Boat Launch in Danbury Township.
Those rescued were not injured.
The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office says they’ll have extra patrol on the road this month of September.
They say they’ll be promoting safety as well as draw awareness to traffic during the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign and during school’s homecoming weekends.
State grant money is paying for the extra patrol shifts.
Huron County has received state recognition for a road construction project.
The Huron County Engineer’s Office says they’ve been given the ‘Quality Award for Asphalt Paving’ from Flexible Pavements of Ohio.
Officials say the recognition is in connection with their Washington Road Resurfacing Project with Erie Blacktop, Inc. performing the paving work.

Chenango Road, between Townline Road 162 and Zenobia Road in Clarksfield Township, is shut down to traffic until further notice…for a culvert replacement.
It appears that orange barrel season is far from over in Lorain County.
Resurfacing begins today on Route 58, north of Oberlin, to just south of Route 113.
Flaggers will be on hand, directing traffic.
The work is expected to be complete next June.
