Erie County/Man sentenced a second time to life in prison for sexually assaulting daughter
A Sandusky man has been sentenced to life in prison…for a second time.
According to the Sandusky Register, 54-year-old Michael Walls faces eight life sentences after being convicted again last month on over 20 counts of rape offenses committed against his daughter from a young age through her teenage years.
Walls was on trial for a second time after winning a state appeal when he was found guilty on similar charges in 2016.
Walls’ attorney said he will appeal again.
Huron County/Church residence robber indicted
A homeless man has been indicted on multiple charges stemming from the burglary of a Norwalk pastor’s residence last month.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that 38-year-old Ryan Justice faces counts of breaking and entering, burglary, theft, tampering with evidence and forgery.
Justice allegedly broke into the rectory for St. Mary’s Church on West League Street where he allegedly stole a laptop and $600 check.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Erie County/Senior Spring Health Fair

They’re accepting applications from eligible honorably discharged Veterans, spouses or family members.
Apps are available at their office on Shady Lane Drive in Norwalk.

The automaker says, they will cut 7-thousand salaried jobs by the end of August…23-hundred in the U-S.
Ford’s announcement follows one by General Motors, which is cutting 14-thousand jobs.
