A high wind warning will begin at 10 this morning, and will end at 10 tonight.

Gusts could hit 60 miles per hour.


The St. Paul Flyers are one game away from playing for a state football championship.

We have presale information for Saturday’s Division VII State Semi-Final Football Game between the St. Paul Flyers and the Glouster Trimble Tomcats.  You can buy presale tickets in the St. Paul Athletic Office between noon and 6:30 tomorrow, 8am and 12 pm Wednesday and 9 until 1 Friday.  Advance tickets are $8 each and St. Paul gets a portion of the proceeds.  If you buy tickets at the gate, they are $10 each.  St. Paul and Trimble will play at Mount Vernon’s Yellow Jacket Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 7pm Saturday.  The game will air live on 95.3 WLKR and wlkrradio.com. The winner will advance to the Division VII State Championship game and will play Columbus Grove or Maria Stein Marion Local on December 6th at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.


A Willard man is behind bars this morning, accused of having sexual contact with three young girls.

According to the Huron County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Mario Felipe is charged with multiple counts of contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a minor. The alleged victims 10, 9 and 6. In addition to criminal charges, Felipe is being held as an immigration detainee.


At least for now, no charges will be filed, in connection with a late October prank at Summit Motor Sports Park.

Norwalk Law Director Stu O’Hara declined to press charges. However, he’s sending all information to the Huron County Prosecutor’s Office for review. A loud explosion, and claims of a plane crash sent deputies to the raceway October 25th. After learning the information was false, Sheriff Dane Howard sought charges, saying raceway officials went too far.


Arrests are pending, in connection with a burglary and fencing ring in Huron, Seneca and Ottawa counties.

Huron County deputies cracked the case last week, and recovered more than $50,000 worth of stolen items, including guns, jewelry and tools. As many as 10 people are expected to face charges.


Columbus Avenue, between Division and Scott streets in Sandusky will be closed between 7am and 6pm today and tomorrow, for sewer repairs.

Detour signs are posted.


Ohio’s unemployment rate for October was 5.3 percent, down from 5.6 percent in September.

County numbers will be released tomorrow.


Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Norwalk Township Trustees’ monthly meeting has been rescheduled for 7pm tomorrow, at the Norwalk Township building.
