A State Trooper is being credited with preventing a suicide in Lorain.
Yesterday afternoon, Trooper Michael Wearsch was on his way to Lorain Municipal Court when he was approached by several people who said, a man was going to jump from the Charles Berry Bascule Bridge.
Wearsch talked with the 18 year old, eventually pulling him to safety.

10 new cases were reported by the Ohio Department of Health on Monday.

Sandusky Transit is offering free rides for those going to, or coming from, a COVID-19 vaccination location.
According to the Sandusky Register, the program is being funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The normal cost of a ride is $1.50.

A company in Norwalk is set to get bigger.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that American Excelsior on Cleveland Road is looking to almost double its operations by this fall, at an investment of $4 million.
The company deals in various construction items, and also makes flexible foam products for many lines of work.

A Sandusky railroad crossing will close for repairs, starting tomorrow.
The city says the crossing on Venice Road will be shut down to traffic from Wednesday through April 23rd.
Detour signs will be placed nearby.

The Elyria City School System has re-opened Eee-lee Stadium to the public.
Track hours are 6:30 am to 1 pm, through the end of school year, with expanded hours expected this summer.
