Governor Mike DeWine joined 38 governors in sending a letter to Congressional leaders in support of the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act.
In the letter, the governors stated that the health and well-being of our residents is our primary concern; and it is imperative that we have adequate resources and funding to respond to this rapidly developing public health emergency.

Another splash pad could be coming to the city of Norwalk.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that Mayor Dave Light has met with The Restore Norwalk group about an all-accessible splash pad for children with and without disabilities.
A couple of locations have been thrown around; including downtown or at a residential park.
Norwalk’s first splash pad, located at the rec center, opened 2 years ago.

According to the Sandusky Register, Firelands Federal Credit Union has signed a lease to open up their 6th branch, to be located on Columbus Avenue next to City Hall and underneath the Columbus Avenue Lofts.
The branch is expected to have 4 employees.

A local, former American Idol star is headed back to Clyde for another show.
Crystal Bowersox will perform at Clyde High School this Saturday night; put on by Clyde’s Communities for the Arts.
Bowersox, who attended Oak Harbor High School, was the runner-up in Season 9 of Idol.
The Wizard World Comic Con opens today at the Cleveland Convention Center.
