A Wakeman man has been indicted by the Huron County Grand Jury on multiple charges.

According to the Sandusky Register, 45-year-old Christopher Love is facing charges of domestic violence, kidnapping and 2 counts of abduction.

Love is accused of holding a family member against her will and assaulting her last October.

The Corona Virus…the focus on several fronts in Lorain County…

Today, Lorain County Health Commissioner Dave Covell and EMA/Homeland Security Director Tom Kelley are scheduled to update the Lorain County Commissioners on preparedness.

Meanwhile, Lorain Schools’ interim CEO Greg Ring has sent out an Email, on what school officials are doing, to reduce the risk of anyone, getting the virus.

——————————————————————————-           Fears of the Corona Virus have prompted state officials and Arnold Schwarzenegger to cancel most of this week’s annual sports and body-building festival in Columbus.

The annual event attacks more than 20-thousand athletes from around the world, and attracts more than 250-thousand fans.

Some more info concerning the Columbus Avenue bridge replacement project in Sandusky…

Columbus Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Bell Avenue to King Avenue; starting March 19th, through the duration of the project.

Bell and King Avenues will remain accessible.

The project, which will replace the bridge over Pipe Creek, is expected to last until at least the summer.

Members of the Plymouth Police Department have been noticed by the state in connection with pedestrian and traffic safety.

The Norwalk Reflector reports that Chief Tom Hintz, Captain Montel Gordon and Officer Terry Shean have received the Community Traffic Safety Gold Award from Triple-A (AAA) East Central.

The award was given in relation to various safety efforts by Plymouth Police including Safety Town, motorcycle safety campaigns and “Don’t Text and Drive” and “Click it or Ticket” signs posted throughout the village.

Some help could be on the way regarding prescription drug prices in Ohio.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has joined a bipartisan coalition of 46 attorneys general supporting states’ rights to regulate and address the rising cost of prescription drugs.

It appears two schools systems in Medina County are at risk of not receiving as much new tax revenue as expected.

The NEXUS Gas Transmission Company is asking the Ohio Department of Taxation, to lower its tax valuation.

If that happens, the Cloverleaf Schools and the Medina Schools would receive less money than expected.

A job fair hosted by Goodwill and other agencies is set for today at Port Clinton High School. 

Students can attend the job-finding event from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, with the job fair open to the public from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
