A woman from Huron has been criminally charged in connection with a crash in Norwalk earlier this week.

The Norwalk Reflector reports that 21-year-old Cassidy Verlie faces charges of failure to yield and driving under suspension.

State Troopers say Verlie allegedly failed to yield at the Route 20 stop sign on Hartland Center Road in Townsend Township; causing a Maple City Ice beer truck to use evasive actions; striking 2 signs and then jack-knifing to avoid hitting Verlie’s car.

The vehicles never hit…and there were no injuries.
