President Trump will bring his first campaign rally of the New Year to Ohio.
He’s scheduled to be in Toledo on Thursday, January 9th.
The state has scheduled hearings regarding the proposed construction of the Emerson Creek Wind Farm in Erie and Huron counties.
The local public hearing is planned for March 17th at 3:00 pm at the Bellevue VFW on Route 20…with a purpose of allowing interested citizens to provide sworn testimony about the proposed facility.
Firelands Wind LLC proposes to construct up to 71 wind turbines at 87 possible locations.
The Huron County Board of Elections has announced that they’ve completed a successful audit of the November election results.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that the audit confirmed that all results have been proven accurate.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding motorists to drive sober this holiday season.
According to the Patrol, 10 fatal crashes killed 11 people during a five-day holiday period in 2018…with 5 of those crashes and 6 fatalities being OVI-related.
Troopers say they’ll be out in full force; removing impaired drivers from the roadway.
The Lorain School Board is asking the City of Lorain’s Law Department to investigate whether the Schools’ outgoing CEO, David Hardy Junior, ignored a directive, to NOT enter into, NOR try to adjust contracts on his way out the door January 3rd.

City Hall will close today at noon and will reopen Thursday at 8:00 am.
Trash collection will be delayed by one day beginning Wednesday.
Victory Kitchen in Sandusky is holding giveaways today for their 28th annual Shoebox Christmas.
Shoeboxes full of toys, winter wear and hygiene products will be handed out to children in need that are 12 years of age and younger, today at 12 noon at their headquarters on Hayes Avenue and various other locations through Erie County.
Over 650 children received shoeboxes a year ago.
