An Elyria man is due in court, accused of stabbing and killing his foster brother.
27 year-old Antonio Sprinkle was arrested Friday for the death of 27 year-old Antwan Dormendo.
Dormendo was found early Friday by police, bleeding, outside the Gas-n-Go convenience store on Lake Avenue.
He died a short time later.
Police are investigating a reported shooting in Fremont early Sunday.
Authorities say a 39-year-old male was located on West State Street with what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was treated for his injuries.
Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
An area man has been indicted on multiple sex charges involving a minor.
According to the Sandusky Register, 31-year-old Samuel Steele of Norwalk and Sandusky faces counts of sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and extortion.
Authorities say Steele allegedly made inappropriate contact with a child and took pictures and video of the act.
A man and woman were arrested Friday after allegedly taking a purse from a 95-year-old woman at the Meijer store in Sandusky.
Perkins Township Police say Robert Johnson and Tara Ohara previously stole a van from a Missouri hospital as well as being in possession of suspected stolen credit cards and driver’s licenses.
The Norwalk Post of the State Highway Patrol has announced plans for an OVI sobriety checkpoint this week.
The patrol says the county where the checkpoint will take place will be publicized the day prior to the checkpoint; and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.
Perkins Township first responders say that 22 pints of blood were donated during last week’s ‘Battle of the Badges’ blood drive.
That amount of blood will reportedly help save 66 lives.

Huron County will see another road construction project get underway today…
The Ohio Department of Transportation says U-S 20 eastbound, just east of the U-S 250 exit ramp on the Norwalk Bypass, will have a single lane closure for slide repair work…along with construction on the retaining wall on U-S 20.
The project is expected to be complete in October.
