A man from Sandusky has been charged with 20-plus felonies…including sex crimes; some of them involving a minor.
According to the Sandusky Register, 39-year-old Denando Dante faces counts of rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and domestic violence…allegedly taking place between 2013 and 2018.
The 65-year-old man who died after being recovered from the waters off Catawba Island has been identified by authorities…

A car flipped on its side on Cedar Point Drive on Monday.
The Sandusky Fire Department says the car hit a fence along the side of the parking lot at Cedar Point.
The driver was not hurt.
The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office says they’ll have extra patrols on the road in August.
They say their focus will be on safety; including the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign.

Governor DeWine is encouraging farmers in 40 Ohio counties to seek potential relief from the U.S. Department of Agriculture following disaster designations…due to rain, flooding and other weather conditions.
Counties included…Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky.
