Huron County/Missing teen
Police in Norwalk are searching for a missing teen boy.
The foster mother of 17-year-old Tieson Gresh says he was last seen around 9:30 pm Friday on Spino Street.
Gresh had apparently been in her care for around two weeks.
He’s described as 6-feet, 1-inch, tall and 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Gresh is with an acquaintance.
Erie County/Shots fired at Sandusky home
Apparent shots fired at a Sandusky home…
Police say they have no suspects after the report of several gunshots fired at a home in the 1500 block of Pierce Street Sunday night.
Three bullet holes were located in the side of the home, with one of them shattering a window.
No injuries were reported.
Local News/ Home invasion suspects stopped by troopers
Troopers from the Highway Patrol Post in Milan are being credited with arresting two men, wanted in connection with a home break-in, in suburban Brookpark.
Friday, troopers pulled over a car, clocked at 88 miles-an-hour in a construction zone, on the Ohio Turnpike.
A passenger had been shot, and was taken to the hospital.
Erie-Huron County/Eight prior OVI’s
A Monroeville man was charged yet again with OVI on Saturday in Erie County.
47-year-old Gary Robbins had eight previous convictions for driving under the influence.
An Erie County Sheriff’s deputy stopped at Route 4 and Bogart Road said they saw Robbins driving 89-miles-per-hour in a 55 zone…later pulling him over in a parking lot on Hayes Avenue.
Huron County/Airport closed now for construction
Starting today, the Huron County Airport is closed for a safety-related construction project.
The closure is expected to last 20 days…until November 3rd…due to a new taxiway being installed.
No flights will be permitted.
Erie County/Sandusky road repairs
Sandusky city officials have announced that $110,000 in street resurfacing repairs will begin soon.
Roads to be worked on include…Olds Street, Taylor Street, Warren and Wayne streets.
Construction should be wrapped up before the end of fall.
Huron County/Free Medicare Check-Up Day event
The state will be holding a Medicare Check-Up event on Wednesday in Norwalk.
It begins at 9:00 am at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, with counseling available by appointment only.
Medicare Open Enrollment started Tuesday.
