Norwalk/Meth lab found
Authorities discovered a house in Norwalk operating as a meth lab during a drug bust Thursday morning.
26-year-old Jessica Bryan of Cline Street faces a charge of complicity to manufacture meth; with an arrest warrant also issued for 34-year-old Brandon Henderson on the same charge.
The Norwalk Police Department special response team used a search warrant to conduct the bust at the home on Cline Street.
Milan/Two arrested in drug raid
A man and woman in Milan have been arrested following a drug investigation.
43-year-old Randy Myers and 39-year-old Stacy Bolding of East Front Street were both charged with felony meth possession and trafficking following the bust on Monday.
Bellevue/Man faces 130+ child porn charges
A Bellevue man has been indicted on 133 felony child pornography charges.
Police began investigating 39-year-old Joseph O’Brien of Union Street in 2016.
O’Brien recently pled “not guilty” to all charges in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.
Sandusky/Man faces charges in alleged shooting incident
A 26-year-old Sandusky man faces charges of robbery, aggravated burglary and assault.
Julias Henderson of Merriweather Drive allegedly shot a man in the leg during a reported incident late last month on Neil and Wayne Streets.
Erie County/Semi-rollover closes 2 and 6
Ohio routes 2 and 6 were affected by a semi-rollover Thursday morning in Erie County.
The accident took place near the Sandusky exit on Route 2 eastbound, resulting in the closing of the road and the U.S. 6 on-ramp to Route 2 for several hours.
Oak Harbor/Text threat forces short lockdown
Oak Harbor High School was placed on a brief lockdown Wednesday morning following an alleged threat.
The lockdown lasted just 15 minutes after authorities deemed the reported text message threat to a student to not be credible.
Vermilion/Authorities warn of more car break-ins
Police in Vermilion are again warning residents of car break-ins.
The car entries were reported in the State Route 60-Hartford area during the overnight hours earlier this week.
North Fairfield/Only store has closed
The only store left in the small Huron County community of North Fairfield has apparently closed.
According to the Norwalk Reflector, a sign at the Country Corner Market shows the business for sale.
73-year-old Ronald Houghtlen Sr., the owner of the store, passed away in January.
